.… IT IS TIME FOR SPONSORSHIPS ….

The CCHA has a sponsorship program which guarantees year-end awards. To be eligible for an end-of-the-year Prize for 1 st or 2 nd place, you must meet these three criteria…1. You must be a CCHA Club Member in good standing. 2. You must VOLUNTEER a total of 4 hours to your club…TWO HOURS worked by yourself and TWO HOURS donated by a friend or family member. 3. The class you are riding in MUST BE SPONSORED. All members of the saddle club are responsible for gathering SPONSORS for their classes.

The CCHA uses entry money to pay the bills and fees required to make the shows happen. The CCHA applies SPONSORSHIP MONEY toward the year-end prizes and banquet fees.

Hay - Since everyone has had their hay tested for quality and nitrates and stored for the winter, let’s look at what NC State dictates we should be doing with it during the cold of winter to insure the equine have all the nutrition they need.  http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/resources/livestock/horses/ag558-6.html

ENCTR - We welcome everyone to a new division of CCHA known as the Eastern North Carolina Trail Riders. This group is located on the button named Trail Riders on our front page. If you would like to be a member of the ENCTR, you must be a member of CCHA. ENCTR will be working hard this first year to establish an equine trail system in the new Brunswick Nature Park off Highway 133 in Leland. Our first Membership trail ride will be hosted this spring.

 2011 GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL PERSONS ATTENDING CCHA EVENTS

Pawing Holes Left By Horses Are A Safety Hazard For Everyone.   When you leave the park, you must take with you your horse manure and FILL YOUR HOLES.  The CCHA has bought a shovel for the holes and a Muck Bucket and Cart for the manure.  These are  available for your use at the show trailer.  Please borrow them and tidy up your space.

    YOU MAY NOT TIE YOUR HORSE TO THE TREES IN THE PARK.

 HELMETS Must Be Worn by children 18 years and under.  This is a necessary piece of Safety Equipment and required by the CCHA.

No Restraints are Allowed to artificially attach children 18 years and under into or onto a saddle.

 Profanity in the Park on show day will not be tolerated by this club.  Any and all persons, members and guests, are held to the same standard while visiting Hugh MacRae Park.  You must control yourself and your language.  Profanity will not be tolerated, and you may find yourself excused from the show for using colorful language.

  The Show Staff and its Board Members always reserve the right to remove or eject patrons from the Show Grounds for infractions.  We are all guests of the park and need to behave appropriately.
